Wider World

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matt. 28:19-20 NIV)

Christian mission is following Christ's call: sharing the Gospel with the lost world through God's wisdom and strength. It is about transformation - transforming individual lives, transforming communities and transforming the world.

All this can be achieved through support, be it by prayer or financially.

Mission is very much a core ingredient of church life, whether it be locally, nationally or in the wider world. In Polmont Old Parish Church we support a number of mission projects, and you can read more about them in the following links.

In addition, as a congregation of the Church of Scotland, a percentage of each member's regular weekly giving goes towards the Mission and Renewal Fund to support the national and global work of the Church of Scotland.

A huge "Thank you!" must go to the members of Polmont Old for their support of all of these projects. We hope that they will continue to give lovingly to help those people who have so little, so that their standard of living, and their health, will be vastly improved.
