Kidzone
Kidzone is for 3-10s. - Every Sunday - 11am-12pm in Church. - New members always welcome!
It has been great to have some new members moving up to Kidzone who are now too old for Creche!
We are glad to welcome back many old faces to Kidzone and several new ones, most of whom have just started school! We are all looking forward to a new session studying young heroes and heroines in the Bible and planning our Christmas Family service. If you are in Nursery or P1 to P6 we’d love you to join us on Sunday morning. You can sit with your family or join us at the front of the church for the first two hymns and the children’s talk. Then we go through to the Session house for juice and biscuits and perhaps a few songs and some time with our leaders. Please bring your friends – all welcome!
Powerhouse
Powerhouse is our Sunday morning group for you (although your Gran will probably call it "Bible Class")
We meet during the morning service
and it's a chance to ask daft questions
and have fun together,
while finding out more about what
being a Christian is all about.

Inspire
There are some churches where no young people attend on a Sunday morning at all but Polmont Old is blessed to have this enthusiastic group, whose members are often seen in church even on "holiday" Sundays, taking part in worship and helping with activities like operating the overhead projector, serving tea and coffee after church or helping in the creche.
Thanks to the young people who helped with the Holiday Club in August – I hope you had as much fun as all the children who came along.
We wish all the best to Amanda, Jamie and Shannon who have finally become too old for Inspire - but we are delighted that Shannon has offered to become a helper with Kidzone, so she's not escaping from the Youth Church just yet. Amanda and Jamie are going away to university but we hope they will be back to see us as often as they can.
It looks like our numbers will be a bit lower this year, so we will be joining with Powerhouse on Sunday mornings, or helping the church by helping with Kidzone or on the church sound board and projection system.
If you know anyone aged around 15 to 18 who would like to join us please just get them to come along on a Sunday morning or put them in touch with Lorna on 711228.
The Grid
This youth club meets every second and fourth Sunday night from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. We get together for some riotous games of dodgy ball or chair-ball... then a snack (with thanks to Jaq Milne and Tracey) and a chat in the kitchen... before we watch a DVD (voting for our choice from a shortlist)... followed by a short discussion. Should we wrap this up with some time to spare, we head back to the main hall for some more games.
The movies we have seen recently include Sister Act I and Sister Act II where we saw the positive side of change and were reminded of the importance of getting our security, self worth and significance from good things.
Our highlight last Session was Avatar – with a ‘chippy’ supper kindly provided by the church. Thank you all very much – we all had a great time! We also watched The Fantastic Mr Fox and explored keeping promises and setting goals. We also watched Pirates of the Caribbean III as an end of exam treat!
All from P7 to S6 welcome, contact the minister for more details... and bring your friends. If you give us your email address, we can send you a reminder that Grid is on.
