Polmont Old Parish Church
As you would expect from such a name, this room is a great place to meet people before and after morning service. It is a place where you can spend some time in fellowship over a cup of tea or coffee, choose a book or CD from the church library, or even buy a card for your favourite grandchild.
ACTs (or After Church Teas) offers tea, coffee or juice with a biscuit and sometimes homebaking, for the cost of a small donation towards church funds. Service is provided on a rota basis by willing volunteers. Do come along and join us for a chat with friends. If you would like to help, please speak to Margaret Connor.
The Church Library has a wide and varied range of Christian books and music CDs for all ages, including children. Sometimes the books are reviewed in the church magazine, Twinspire, and donations are always welcome. There is a book in which you can record your loan.
There is a wide selection of greetings cards and gift cards for all occasions, handmade by church members. Prices are very reasonable, and all monies taken go to church funds. Special orders are taken.
